Diagnosis for Ryan

And the verdict is....nothing. All of Ryan's tests have come back and are all normal. He is still however experiencing problems so they said it is safe to give him immodium twice a day. They are labeling it "non-specific toddler's diarrhea." This means that while clearly something is causing this to happen, they don't know what it is, only what it is not. The good news is that typically children outgrow this by age 3. The bad news is that he is continuing to not gain weight and even lost a pound last month. So, we can try the immodium again. I plan on doing a food journal for him and taking it to a nutritionist to see if we can get any pointers. Other than that, he's happy and healthy. He started using the potty on occaision this week so we're very pleased about that.

Aidan is doing well in preschool. He's showing a lot of growth already which is great. He is learning to write his name and doing very well. He recognizes, writes and actually understands the values of his numbers up through about 12. He seems very fascinated with math and with patterns.

Hope all of you are doing well and have a great Thanksgiving.

I'm glad to hear that Ryan will be okay. Sofia is on her way to being potty trained, she thinks it is pretty fun and she waves as the toilet is flushing.
Happy Thanksgiving!!

That's so cute that she waves at the potty! Ryan's problem is that he doesn't want to wear any clothes when he goes so he strips completely. Too funny.

Sofia tries to run naked but the boys make fun of her and "laugh", so I have to keep panties on her. My boys did the same as Ryan and actually Annalee did it too.
